19th annual San Francisco Fringe Festival is underway

It started last night and goes through 09/19: 43 shows, 12 days, 250+ performances- all in the Tenderloin- I mean the "Theater District," yes, San Francisco's Fringe Festival is happening right now.

The schedule is set up so you can easily see three plays in a night (they are all about an hour or less) and there's a wide array to take in. Not quite something for everyone, but if you like adventurous theater, the next 11 days have plenty for you see. The website is very easy to make your way through, considering how many shows it has to give information on and the performance calendar is one of the best online set-ups I've seen. Kudos to the Exit Theatre for making it so easy.
